Lodge International A-level Results Break Records

Lodge International School reports a record-breaking result for the Cambridge International A-Level Exams taken in the May / June 2021 series. 9 students achieved straight A*s for 4 subjects, which is an unprecedented number. In total, close to 35% of the cohort achieved straight A/A*. The students and teachers have both put in their best efforts, adapting to the situation and persevering despite challenging circumstances.
Result Summary
Sciences
Science subjects achieved outstanding results with a huge leap in the percentage of A/A* grades. Biology and Physics both had over 80% A/A*s, an increase of more than 20% from the previous year. Chemistry students also showed improvement, with close to three quarters of the cohort achieving A/A*.
Mathematics
Due to high demand, Lodge offered Further Mathematics for the first time to this batch of students. Despite this being a highly specialised subject, over 70% achieved A/A*, an outstanding achievement. Mathematics students also showed an improvement with over half the students achieving A/A*.
Humanities
Humanities subjects have also done very well, with over one third of students achieving A/A* in English Language, Economics, Business and Psychology, while History and Geography maintained a 100% pass rate.

ABOUT LODGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
Lodge International School caters for students in the British National Curriculum from Year 2 (age 6) through the Cambridge IGCSE Level (age 15 and above) and the Cambridge International A-Level.
