Lodge International School obtained outstanding results for the October/November 2021 Cambridge IGCSE exams.
Lodge International School strives to support the students in pushing boundaries and taking on challenges, and the 2021 cohort included students who took up to 11 IGCSE subjects. 71.3% of the cohort achieved 5A*/A and above and among them, 4 students took at least 10 subjects and obtained straight A*/A.
Cambridge IGCSE Result Summary
Our IGCSE students maintained an excellent record. In particular, Foreign Languages (Korean, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin) achieved 100% A*/As, while ICT comes at a close second, with 97.4% achieving As. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology maintained a high percentage rate of A*/As, with over 75% in Physics and Biology and close to 90% for Chemistry students. Humanities subjects such as First Language English, Literature, and Geography gave a solid performance, with over 50% obtaining A*/As.
Notable Achievements
Our top scorers for the cohort are Brandon Wong Jian Li, Celina Lu Xian Qi and Claire Ng Mei An, who achieved straight A*s for 10 subjects, while Leanne Lau En Xi is the first to take 11 subjects for IGCSE, getting the excellent result of 9A*2A.
